Michael
McArdle Trophy (Young Dancer of the Year Award)
This is a new award in memory
of Michael,
to be presented annually to the best young dancer
of The Side.
David Andrews was the first
recipient of this trophy which was presented to
him by Michael's father, Larry. For David, who frequently
danced the Bampton two-man jig, Princess Royal,
with Michael, and Larry this was a moving moment.
